A man in a pink crocheted top with roses, who was demonstrating how to crochet your own wedding dress. Japanese TV delivers yet again.
Personally, I like the game show where they dress the contestants in velcro suits and jump on a fuzzy wall to get points.

Date: 2004-05-31 09:29 am (UTC)Spike TV has the velcro suits game, along with faux-dubbed English commentary. They invent arbitrarily ridiculous teams (Food Services Workers vs. Union Members etc.) and then add great made up information about the competitors.
Picture the same show only with the commentary track running:
[Guy runs up to the start point]
"This is Akira. Akira has been second tea boy to the Yakuza for seven years now!"
[Akira waves his arms in the air and yells something]
"I like dipping oreo cookies in warm milk!"
"I think we all do, Akira."
"Well, let's see what approach Akira is going to take now?"
"He's taking the run up, it's a double flip to half loon. Oh, that's got to be painful."
"Yes, Akira fall's to ground face first. The Yakuza will not be happy with that one."
[Akira pulls himself up and faces to camera]
"I bring shame to my family and the organization!"
[Runs off screen]
"Yes, you do Akira. Well, we leave Akira to remove the appropriate finger and move on to Shen. Shen is..."
