ellienihonI had a nap this afternoon. It was good.
I went to go take the lock of my bike this morning (lost the key), and found out that I'm going to have to break it off or find someone else who know what to do. Or pick the lock...? Anyway, since I had planned to ride back, I ended up being late to get back and was concerned that H had already come and gone. Turns out she was just late (we go to tea ceremony together).
We get there, and it's locked. We forgot to find out what the schedule for this month was. I suggested we go to Komakiyama (mountain with castle on top) She doesn't have any other shoes, so she goes the whole way in her heels and a skirt. We talk and walk. I am glad we got a chance to talk. It was a beautiful day, although not as clear as when I went before. The trees are starting to change colors. Then, we went to get lunch at Tomato Onion (diner chain, near my apt). It was crowded, and service was unusually slow.
It was probably crowded with kids who had finished going to temple for Shichi-go-san. When boys are 5 and girls are 3 and 7, they dress in old fashioned kimonos and go to temple. Not really sure why, but there were a whole bunch of them lined up on the street. I live near Komatsuji, which is a temple. (Temple-Buddhist, Shrine-Shintoist)
Naptime was good. Some phone calls about translation stuff for Alanon. Then off to rehearsal. I get to Kanayama, and guess what? Rehearsal was at a different place! At least I remembered where rehearsal was. I proceeded to the rehearsal, and it was fun. I like that I can contribute to the rehearsal musically in Nagoya Konsei. Afterwards, went out to dinner with the new tenor. Hmmm, if I was straight, he'd be a attractive, based on looks. 24, has been working putting together airplanes for four years. Eat, yummy, home, bed. Night night.
