Transportation

I hung out with Andou-san yesterday. She's the computer person at the school that's closest to my apartment (Honjo). We just chatted and had tea, and then got her kids and all had dinner together. She's got a sense of humor, which is fun. Her kids are a handful. 3 of 'em, the boys are 5 and 4, girl is almost 2. They have a large house, that is connected to the grandparents house. Actually, between the two places, there are 6 kids and 6 adults. And they have lots of stuff. So Andou was talking with her sister in law, who has an extra bike, and they agreed that I could use it if I pay for some repairs on it! yeay! Now to figure out when this could happen, but I'm just happy that I will have a bicycle!!

They came and took my car yesterday, and today my supervisor brought a new one. and it really is new! It doesn't shudder and make semi-scary noiseswhen it's struggling. It's still a kei car, which means it just doesn't have much power to speak of, but it's a better kei car!

Japanese TV

It's a Godzilla movie, with Godzilla, who shoots lazer beams, and a pterodactyl thing that gives of sparks when it's hurt (looks like the animatronics are damaged).

And now, they have an egg in a lab, and the woman just stood there and watched as it hatched a man-sized baby godzilla. The scientists all come down to see, and the baby decides it likes the woman, who feeds it the roses she has on her desk. This is just so wrong, it's funny. Oh, and did I mention the telepath lab they have (mostly children, but one adult).

OMG... Now they're breaking out the Godzilla robot, a la Voltron, manned by 5 people. And hey, it's in English now. Oh, it's Meka-Godzilla. I feel sorry for Godzilla... He only has one distance weapon, while they have plasma cannons, lasers and electrocution cable thingies.
