Holiday Challenge, day 1
I am grateful:
1) that I got to experience being around a group of people I didn't know and feeling comfortable and enjoying myself.
After our performance, I went to a friend's house for her gathering. I enjoy her company, and want to be closer to her, but her life is busier than mine, so it's challenging. She had a group of wonderful women there, and they were quite welcoming without being overbearing or false. In the time I was there, I really enjoyed interacting with them, and would definitely like to join them again, if I have the chance. This experience makes me reconsider the basis of my discomfort around people I don't know.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.
