It was really more of a get together. We played games, and I really like to do that with this group of friends. I had fun, although the whole putting together a party for me thing was scary. I did it. All but one invitee showed up (unexpectedly-- Christine was supposed to be working). We managed to find seating for everyone, and the house didn't feel too crowded. My housemate made yummy chicken :) and there was great cake, although the number on the candles was wrong :-P~

I learned a few things.
  1. Be clearer in the future about food and expectations and such. As in, "there will be real food served."

  2. Have a back up plan in case food takes too long (slow cooked chicken)

  3. Having at least one game that everyone can join in on is better (but not werewolves, I guess (it's a game))

  4. Thing will work out anyway, because I have great friends who love me and will catch me.

So I'm feeling pretty good. I think I'm gonna sleep in tomorrow and not go to B and D. I've been doing a lot of socializing, and have two things tomorrow night that I still haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to juggle.
