PSI graduation
Mar. 28th, 2004 05:06 amSo I met Sakura and we went to the PSI basic graduation. Some of you know about my involvement with PSI. PSI is a personal growth seminar company. I went through their seminars back in 2001. This included two trips up to Northern CA to do seminars at the ranch they have. I also staffed a seminar at the ranch last year. These seminars had Japanese participants, and Nagoya happens to be the center of PSI Japan.
It was so great. There were six people that I know from my trips up to the ranch. I got to surprise most of them. It was so cool. Miho and Yumi both talked about the possibility of me translating. There's going to be a blossom viewing party that I'm going to go to on 4/11. Also, I go to meet some new people who are in Komaki or have business there, and want to hang out. It was fun, but I was so tired from the jet lag that I decided to leave early, headed over to the internet cafe, and came back to the hotel. Now I'm watching Pearl Harbor dubbed in Japanese and I'm going to try to stay awake for another hour before I sleep (it's 10pm) I'm supposed to leave at 8:45am to go to the apartment.
The internet place was interesting. You're given a small cabinet sized space with an executive style chair, and they charge by the quarter hour. Or you can buy 3 hours for $9. It's very small, and there's a sliding door that you close. Think quarter cubicles.
