Still sick, but better
Apr. 9th, 2004 12:52 amI got out and did a bit of driving yesterday, and Sakura came over today. I'm supposed to go to the combined Judo practice tonight, but I don't think it's a good idea for me to play. I think I'll just watch. At least I managed to eat something today.
I found out that my TV can switch to the secondary audio line, so I can watch movies in the original language. The Fugitive was on last night. Not my favorite movie, but hey, I didn't have to think. 3 Japanese soldiers were killed in Iraq, and they announced with the names during the movie (across the top of the screen). I don't completely understand the little bits of the news I've been seeing, and I don't really want to know. My feeling is that there is no good way to get out of this situation, and staying doesn't seem to be helping. It's sad.
Other than that, still haven't heard from work so I could tell them, but I think I want to have the car. Depending on what the schedule is like, I'm going to have quite a bit of baggage that I need for my classes, and the station that I would need to get to is something like 15 minutes away on bike. Which would be fine, but then I have to walk from the station I arrive at to the school, and doing that in the heat of summer and cold of winter? not so much. I think I will stick with the work only car plan though.
