Yesterday was fun. Today was better. The wedding this morning was at the Ferry landing at Coronado, and it was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful location. It was a very simple ceremony, and they had nice food and music, but the best part was seeing my radiant friends be joined together. They looked wonderful. Oh, the bike was fun too (they rented a 4 person buggy bike thing).
Then, I headed over to Balboa Park, and once I found parking, went to the Rennaissance Faire. It was wonderful, mainly because my good friends were at their guild, so I got to spend most of the day lounging around with them. Other friends were also there, and a kind lady (who I met last night) lent me her garb so that I could fit in. It was annoying to not have my own garb, but it was great to be in that atmosphere, to see new friends and old, and to just enjoy the sun. I really didn't do alot, but it was just a nice, relaxed time. After the faire closed, my friend invited me to join them at Farrell's so I had a nice greasy dinner and ice cream! The only downside was that my ATM card refused to work, so I'll have to get that sorted out on Monday. It was a beautiful day.
I can't believe I'm going back to Japan in a week.
