I am in Japan
Aug. 17th, 2004 05:54 amIt's hot and humid and raining. I got back alright, and I actually think the flight ended up being my best crossing yet. The flight to Taipei was nowhere near full, and I was in the middle row (four seats) with a woman who gestured that I could take the other three when I lay down. I fit almost perfectly in three seats, by the way. I slept a night in a hotel (my last bed for months, most likely), spent 3 hours watching the Olympics in my room, and went on a free tour of Taipei this morning. The flight to Nagoya went fine, and although I was edgy after missing my flight, it was an easy trip. I'm fine, and I intend to write a bit about Taipei shortly.

I'm so glad everything worked out.
