It's cold

My water froze overnight last night, and I'm contemplating wearing long johns under my pajamas in addition to my housejacket to sleep tonight. And we don't even have any snow to show for it! Also, my parking spot comes out onto what is currently a semi permanent stream of water coming out of the asphalt (ground water). Which means I get to drive onto black ice every morning. I've given up on heading up stream on the way to work. The good news is that my neighbor is willing to call the city about that, so we can get some salt.
