Japanese Ceremony this Saturday

ellienihonThis is the group that I had a significant experience with in Japan. My friend is in town, and will be doing the ceremony (with English translation!) this Saturday in Chula Vista. Please let me know if you would like to attend, since I need to give them a head count.

An Invitation to the
Kyudo Ceremony
In ancient times, the Kyudo Ceremony was considered so sacred that it could only be passed from one master to a single disciple at a time. These disciples were considered enlightened and could only be chosen to participate in the ceremony after having proved their worthiness for such sacred gifts.
As the world and humanity have changed, it has been necessary to make changes in how Kyudo is passed on, however, it is still believed that only the chosen and worthy find the “link” to the thread that leads to Kyudo.
Even this invitation has a purpose in having reached you.
Therefore, we would like to invite you to a wonderful spiritual experience by participating in the Kyudo Ceremony. During the ceremony, three gifts considered essential and basic for life and the spirit are passed on to you. Kyudo will help you understand your true nature and how to always find peace within yourself. It will also give you a better understanding of the Mother/Creator of the universe and each person’s “oneness” with all.
You will learn about “conscience”, which is endowed to all people of all religions and which unites all of humanity. This experience, however, is not a religion and does not take the place of your own religious beliefs.
We hope you accept this invitation to participate in the Kyudo Ceremony, now being conducted July 5, 2007 at 4pm. To help defray the cost of the ceremony, a donation of $50 per adult and $30 per child is requested.
