I cut and pasted this from a thread about grouply. I'm glad to see that there is some way of controlling what information from yahoogroup lists is being made public on grouply.

If your a group Owner / MOD and wish to protect your members from being
spammed,
Having your shares seen by who knows who, letting who the heck knows your
email address and whatever else Grouply do this is how to put a stop to it..
Go to this link http://www.grouply.com/owner_controls.php
Put your yahoo Group Owner email address in and send the email, Don't close
that page!!
You will get an email with the Owner Authorization Code
You now need to enter the Owner Authorization Code here http://www.grouply
com/owner_controls.php?c=1 and submit.
(You must Set Group access in Grouply = Disabled)
You will then get a few emails and the last one will give you this sort of
message...
Dear (your group name here) owner,
You are receiving this email because you or another owner or moderator of
your group has disabled access for your group in Grouply and requested that
any of your group messages be deleted.
All of your group messages have been deleted from Grouply.
If you did not request this, please check with the moderators who receive
email from
Your group email here-owner@yahoogroups.com to see if they requested this.
If you are receiving this email in error, please ignore this email. Report
abuse at support@grouply.com.

Grouply is a new website that consolidates yahoogroups postings for individual users, however, they need your password to do this. I have concerns about security on the individual and group levels.
