Aug. 15th, 2007 04:00 pmWhat is one food that you refuse to try? Why?
While in Japan, there was only one food I refused to try. I tried natto several times, ate things that had bones or skin, and things with the consistency of mucus. (I do not recommend any of these things) The one thing I would not put in my mouth was whale flesh. It was cubed and fried, and appeared in our school lunch one day. I did not, and will not consume whale. I just couldn't, for ethical reasons. I couldn't eat Shamu. (I know, it probably wasn't a killer whale, but that's what came to mind when I thought about eating it).

Date: 2007-08-16 03:49 pm (UTC)The idea of eating cetaceans of any kind is completely repugnant.
The thing I am completely squicked about eating is the brains of any creature. I would be a miserable failure as a zombie ;-)
